Which is the best motorbike to start on Yamaha 650 Silverado or Suzuki 650 Boulevard?

I have driven before on a Yamaha 250, but it has been over twenty years and want to start again. I want to do a bit of highway and touring. I don't want a lot of power just want to go from point A to B.

3. Yamaha 650 is a little under powered for its size, and requires rather frequent valve adjustment. I'd go with the liquid cooled Suzuki. In fact, you may want to look at the Kawasaki 500cc Vulcan or the Honda 600cc Shadow. Either of these machines will take you touring.
4. The LS650 Suzuki is a kind of small bike and unless you're physically small you'll look silly on one. I'd go with the S50 Boulevard myself.
