is the YAMAHA SR125 right for me?

hi, im thinking about buying a Yamaha SR125cc motorbike, im 6 foot 3 and weigh about 15/16 stones? will it be ok?, its for sale for £850 is this a reasonable price?. HELP ME, Thanks

1. I can't advise you on the price without knowing the condition of the bike; condition is more important than mileage. Look carefully for signs of rust and rot. Size-wise it will be okay, it's an open sitting position and it will happily take the weight of two people but the SR is just so damn ugly! The Honda Rebel is often laughed at as a little-girl's bike (it's a good bike for girls though) but it's really quite attractive albeit very diminutive and it's got rock-solid Honda build-quality.
2. It's a good bike and will suit you it is under powered though as a commuter. you might like to consider the yamaha TW 125 as being more suitable for your physical size.
3. there a spot on bike...not only that there not liked by thief's so it shouldn't get pinched...
