- This is the time to add year, make and model to your post. You just missed out, because I can tell you a lot, but without this information, there is little I can tell you. Nothing I can tell you for now, sorry!
- Get a rope so you can tow your scooter with a faster car.
- there is not much you can do without changing parts, you could use some octane booster from auto zone or another auto parts store. I would recommend buying some nice tools, and searching online for scooter enthusiast websites and they will have some nice performance parts. you could probably find some forums for advice on how to perform the modifications.

- Haul it up to the top of your building, then throw it off the roof! It'll go really fast!
- less weight, get off the jelly rolls
- FOR ONE THING OCTANE DOES NOT GIVE YOU MORE POWER. OCTANE RATING IS THE RESISTANCE TO DENOTATION .THE HIGHER IT IS ,THE MORE RESISTANCE TO DATATION THERE IS. THAT'S WHY DIESEL IS SO LOW IN OCTANE. THEN THE SCOOTER IS PROBABLY LOW TEC AND MIGHT NOT BE MUCH YOU CAN DO WITH IT
- you can get some additional speed with increased air flow, intake and exhaust. Pretty cheap to do, but can create a lot of problems if you are not good at adjusting other things that have to change along with the 'mods'. You might look into whether or not your 50cc scoot is 'speed restricted' before you try anything else.
- You have to get a Slipstreamer Spitfire S-06 windshield for it. I have a Yamaha Vino 125 and a Suzuki DR200 DualSPort that the screen did wonders for . Picked up my top speed by almost 10mph and I get up to speed a little quicker maybe event gets me better MPG. Anything helps plus its small enough that it looks nice. The Spitfire S-06 is universal and can fit different bikes / scoots. Mine is the one with 7/8 handle bars. Lucky for me my scooter and DR200 have the same diameter. This option will not hurt your engine or give it problems down the line. Modifying engine can give you issues later. Another option is put a Iridium sparkplug in it . Better starts is what I have been getting.
