Where can I buy replacement parts for a 49cc Gas Scooter? Like a desperate Mom at xmas time, I purchased my son's ONE wish, a gas powered scooter, from the internet. Needless to say, it lasted about 2 weeks before it needed replacement parts, and the company does not return calls or emails. I tried the manufacturer, but they have NO idea what I need, which I took straight from the parts list that came from the scooter! Scooter cuts out while idling and immediately after acceleration - Why? I have a generic scooter - Chinese parts, assembled in Canada. It has approx. 800 km so far and it has since cut out once while idling and one just after accelerating. (It also have trouble starting at times but letting a bit of fuel in before starting or while hiting the ignition solves that problem). The seller told me that the belts are about 40 dollars.
