How do you remove a alternator from a honda CBX 750 motorbike? Hi, I suspect alternator failure on my Honda CBX 750. Ive tried to remove it but no joy so far. I've read it's chain driven, does that mean the engine needs to be stripped to remove the alternator? The battery is not charging and there is no voltage on the primary alternator wires. Carberettor problems on honda c90 (motorbike) any help please? I have a Honda C90 C which i have just insured to go on the road, however i am having problems setting up the carberettor, I have gone through the normal process of setting one up which i have done for years on karts, ATV's etc but cannot seem to get it right. What would i need to do next, it does not flood etc is just does not run correctly full stop, should i change the jets? if so to what? Can or have you fitted Hand brush guards to a Honda XR 125 L 06 model motorbike?~? I've brought a couple of universal pairs but niether of them fit . I have one pair left as the other pair got too badly damaged while trying to fit them . The pair I have kept ask for hollow handle bar ends . I picked it up and it started fine but over the past month it has gone down hill. The battery went dead and even when I push start it neither the headlamp nor tail lights will come on. Any suggestions would be appreciate. Oh yeah I got a new battery and the lights still won't come on although it starts fine but I don't just want to drain this battery too.

First motorbike.. honda shadow? I'm nearly old enough to get my motorbike L's and im deciding what bike i should get. My brother has a nice BMW R65, but its always breaking down (like every european vehicle is lol) so i would like to get something more reliable. so im thinking japanese bikes maybe I really dont like the racing bike look. i love harleys, triumphs (dream bike is a triumph bonnie) and all the chopper type bikes. so im thinking the honda shadow, it looks pretty good, i can use it as a learner bike cause it isnt too powerful and i can afford one. plus being honda is has the reliabality im looking for yes? no? maybe? think i should? lol c'mon help!

Old motorbike question..honda c90? ok, i am buying my first motorbike, and am concidering an old honda c90..its from the mid 1970, and a non-runner(but probally within my limits to fix)it costs half nothing(predictibly) but i am wondering if its an actual viable method of transportation, even if i do work on it..i am quite drawn to that idea, as learning about how to fix bikes would probally help me in general and so on my other options are a 84' honda c90..or a couple of crappy plasticey scooter (x8rs and so on), or a dirt cheap MBK ovetto If anyone could offer me advice on the situation it would be greatly appreciated ^^ PS. i'll be doing about 30 miles a week..maybe less Thanks! sorry, i did't mention b4..i m 17 and in ireland, you can only drive up to 125 cc..hence my list of slow bikes...i wont be doing much freeway..we dont really have them in ireland anyway
