Scooters...? ...anyone remember those scooters you used to get in the 80's early 90's? They had mag wheels like a bmx and tyres that you could pump up. They had a fiberglas deck you could stand on and also stunt pegs. I think they also had breaks but i'm not sure. Anyway I have been trying to hunt one down on the tintertwat but I am having no joy. I think they might have been called "scootec" but i'm not sure. Anyone with any info, and who is willing to impart that info would go right to the top of my Christmas card list!!! Thanks very muchly

What are the laws regarding 150cc scooters in Virgina? From what I understand I have to get a class M endorsement on my license. I would have to have a learners permit be watched by someone ect. However I know no one to watch me with one who has a valid motorcycle license. You can bypass having the learner's permit by going to a motorcycle education class. But they teach you on a motorcycle. I want no part of a motorcycle because I seriously have issues with things that are not automatic with a clutch. The classes in my area at Apex Cycle Education say you can't use your own bike hence my scooter. So I dunno what to do. Anyone know if I am reading the rules right? If so are there classes offered that Virgina DMV accepts for those riding scooters not motorcycles. Because they operate diffrentlly but similar.

Why does wal-mart provide those scooters to land monsters? I think it's fine that Walmart provides scooters for crippled, elderly, and injured people but just being so fat that you get tired of walking is ridiculous.
